Most guests who don't reply aren't saying no. They opened it, meant to answer later, and forgot.
Why guests don't RSVP
| Reason | The fix |
|---|---|
| They forgot | One reminder, a week before the reply-by date |
| Replying is a chore | One tap from the invitation, no account |
| No deadline | A real date: Kindly reply by May 1 |
| They never saw it | A sender they know, sent where they read |
| They're unsure | Say who is invited, and how to ask a question |

FAQ
How many reminders should I send?
One, a week before the reply-by date, to guests who haven't answered. Then call or text the last few yourself.
Is it rude to RSVP and not show up?
Yes, unless something came up. A short message to the host is all it takes.
Should the RSVP date be on the invitation?
Always. Kindly reply by May 1 gets more answers than Please RSVP.
How do I know who opened the invitation?
With a digital invitation you can see who opened it and who replied, so you only chase the people who need it.
Make replies come back on their own
On Paper&Seal, guests open a sealed envelope and reply on the card in one tap. Home shows who opened and who answered, and it can send each guest who hasn't replied one reminder a week before your date (on The Invitation and up). Send by email, or copy a guest's link to text it. Free for up to 25 guests.
